I. Keep your Website up-to-date:

     Always make sure that your apps, plugins, content management system and scripts are up to date. Many websites are hacked just because they are using older versions.

     It is important to have a strong password which is not used anywhere. Password will be strong when uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerals, and special characters are used.

III. Prevent users from uploading Files and Photos:

     It is good to keep a standard method for uploading files and photos. If possible remove any forms and areas to which users can upload files to the website.

IV. Install an SSL Certificate:

    SSL certificate essentially confirms that our website is secure and able to able to transfer encrypted information back and forth between your server and a person's browser.

V. Keep error messages simple:
 
    If your error message gives away too much information, hackers and malware can exploit the information to find and gain access to things like your website's root directory. Instead of adding explicit details to your website error messages, consider offering a concise apology and linking it back to the main website.
